Check Point CloudGuard Network Security

As cloud-based working becomes de facto, more and more data is being shared and stored remotely. Whilst working in the cloud offers many benefits to organisations, the security of moving and storing data in the cloud has become an important element of an organisation’s cloud strategy.

Check Point’s CloudGuard Network Security has been developed precisely to offer this security. Developed over many years, and being as it is part of the CloudGuard cloud native security platform, it provides the advanced threat protection and cloud security that your business demands.

Check Point understand the importance of having a consistent security policy in order to maintain efficient practice; with CloudGuard Network Security you can expect comprehensive authentication and compliance reporting as standard across both virtual and physical network environments.

Data Centre and Network Function Virtualisation

CloudGuard provides comprehensive security for dynamic virtualised environments and supports common solutions such as VMware ESX, Hyper-V and KVM. NFV environments can also be secured, as well as virtual data centres.

Private Cloud Security

There are many security challenges and gaps resulting from the shift to East-West traffic flow within the data centre. CloudGuard works by augmenting existing micro-segmentation capabilities by working with leading network virtualisation solutions.

The following Cloud Management platforms can integrate with CloudGuard: VMWare NSX, VMware vCenter, Nutanix AHV, Cisco ACI, Microsoft Azure Stack and OpenStack.

Kieron

Central Response Team Manager

Kieron has been with SEP2 since 2019 and works in our support team.

For Kieron, there is no typical day at SEP2, for one day he can be working through open tickets, another day you could be working on a priority case for the duration of the day, and another day you could be working on an ongoing project, but what Kieron enjoys is that the mix of challenges keeps the role fresh and interesting.

Kieron likes that within the support team everybody works well together, and shares knowledge between every level and are constantly being encouraged to learn.

In his spare time, Kieron’s current favourite hobby is working on his allotment, which gives him a nice change of scenery and a break from technology.
