Distology & SEP2 Discuss the Forces Shaping the Cyber Security Market Across Europe
More data has been compromised in the last 12 months than in the previous 15 years Canalys estimates, despite a 10% growth in cyber security spending. Following the Ryuk ransomware attack on French IT Giant, Sopra Steria, which accounted for weeks of disruption and a potential final cost of 50 million euros, when their insurance policy only covered up to 30 million euros for cyber risk, Channel Partner Insight have put together a documentary covering the forces shaping the cyber security market across Europe.
James, Head of Cyber Security Presales says: “We are seeing a shift in the market where we need to have more visibility, with more flexible costs and less staff available. Companies who are still using outdated tools and methodologies and who find themselves constantly having to recruit more Cyber Security talent are falling further and further behind the bad guys. We need to embrace utilising the best resource for the job, whilst realising our own limitations of time and skill-sets. The future lies in bringing data and companies together to get ahead once again”
The documentary was broadcast for the first time as part of CPI’s largest European MSP event – Inside Track on the 22nd September. You can watch the video feature by going to Channel Partner Insights web page.
