Virtual CISO (Team CISO)
Chief information security officers (CISOs) are highly sought-after professionals, to the point where good ones are expensive and hard to come by. Some organisations also struggle to justify a Full Time Equivalent (FTE) in this role and therefore it is often resourced by allocating this role to an individual whose primary role or experience is not Information/Cyber Security, too busy to provide the dedication the role requires or does not have the necessary experience the role requires.

The SEP2 Solution

Team CISO is a service where an experienced SEP2 information security practitioner is assigned to you to offer your organisation the role of a CISO and offers their time and insight to an organisation on an ongoing basis, part-time and remotely.
SEP2 assign a CISSP certified lead consultant which is backed by a team of security professionals, providing you with the role on a part-time basis of a CISO. Providing you with a lead consultant gives you the comfort of a single point of contact, while still knowing that there is a breadth in-depth with the team of CISOs who will be involved in ‘mini-projects’ and discussions of your account.

SEP2 can provide you with the Team CISO role as a service where the product is the expertise of a team of consultants. Whether this is a stop-gap solution or a long-term vision of providing the CISO role in your organisation, SEP2 will work tirelessly to improve your security posture and react to security incidents as and when they occur. Whether you are looking to align to industry certification standards such as Cyber Essentials, ISO27001/2 or PCI-DSS, SEP2 will work with the organisation’s security strategy to make sure your organisation is best protected.
